On August 20th, my good friends Allison Hobart and Ryan Nader got married in Charlottesville, Virginia at Ash Lawn-Highland. Besides Ash Lawn-Highland being very historic as it was the home of former President James Monroe, it offers a gorgeous location for a wedding.
The day started out with me chillin with the guys at the Holiday Inn as the groom and groomsmen prepped for the wedding. After they were ready they boarded the shuttle to Ash Lawn-Highland where they hid away behind the historic slave quarters until it was time for the ceremony to begin.
The day was a perfect for an outdoor wedding complete with blue skies and warm sun. The ring bearers looked adorable and stayed cool wearing khaki shorts and white button down shirts with a bow tie.
The groom watched his radiant bride make her way down the isle escorted by her father. The ceremony was beautiful and full of love and heartfelt emotion.
They soon exchanged vows and were pronounced husband and wife by their officiant Claire Goodman.
Just after they exited I was able to catch this candid embrace between the hedges as the sun glistened behind them! How beautiful!!
Ryan and Allison are truly a fun loving couple, but you don’t have to take my word for it. just take for example…the cake incident!
After the reception Allison and Ryan exited in style to bubbles and a Mercedes ride back to their hotel. The happy couple departed early the next morning to catch their flight for their honeymoon in Mexico! Once again, Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Nader!!
